Lindy introduces new innovation to classic tackle.

The time-saving X-Change Jig System allows you to change jig color and size without cutting and retying! Specially designed jigheads and hook collars simply snap together, allowing any size or color X-Change Jighead on to an X-Change Max Gap® hook for endless color combinations!

A Swedish classic! The Original Viking Spoon has been a staple of freshwater and saltwater fishermen in Scandinavia for more than 50 years. It is made of saltwater corrosion resistant solid brass with stainless steel split-rings and Mustad hooks. The secret behind the Original Viking Spoon is its perfect center of gravity that is developed through a unique bending in its manufacturing process. This special design allows for extra casting length and an unbelievable action that gamefish cannot resist.

Another Lindy time-saver, the Lindy Spider Rig eliminates the need to tie rigs, one of the most tedious and time consuming aspects of spider rigging. The most important aspect of spider rigging is to keep all lines in the water as much as possible. When a line gets hung up or tangled by a fish, anglers will usually quickly cut that line off in order to keep all other rigs in the water. Enter the Lindy Spider Rig. Lindy's Spider Rig provides a premium pre-tied solution to changing rigs.

Lindy's Flicker Spider Rig adds an important aspect to crappie fishing: flash. Crappie feed by sight. The 00 Nickel Indiana blade located above the Aberdeen hooks on Lindy's Flicker Spider Rig provide one more attractant above the minnow or jig. When paired with the Lindy Rigger system anglers will spend less time rigging and more time fishing!

The Thill Crappie Cork takes the guesswork out of matching jig and cork sizes. The amount of weight that the cork will float is printed right on the brightly-colored Crappie Cork, a first in the industry! With the proper amount of weight, the cork floats on the lateral line, allowing you to detect even the lightest of bites. There is no need to purchase beads and bobber stops, because the Crappie Cork comes with the bobber stop on the cork already and has a special, small diameter insert that grabs the bobber stop so no beads are needed! Simplicity and brilliant innovation make this a staple for every tackle box. The spring on the bottom stem allows for fixed float rigging as well.

Time-saving innovation with New Lindy tackle!

Lindy NewsLine - Fall 2008

The jig bite is hot— but the weather's not.

A brisk autumn day on a wind-swept reef, hood cinched tightly against the elements... fingers numbed by dipping minnows from icy buckets, gloveless hands shakily working the reel, struggling to maintain a deft feel for the slightest tap.

The walleyes were snapping up on top at sunrise- 12 to 15 feet was magic- and your black 1/8th ounce jig was picking them off. But you haven't had a bite for a good half hour.

Your gut says go deeper. Your graph says go deeper. But your 1/8th ounce jig isn't gonna cut it in 25 feet, and down there, a brighter color is probably a better bet. Rats! Time to re-rig.

No big deal in balmy weather, but when your hands are trembling from the cold and you're shivering so hard you can hardly thread the line through the eye, let alone tie a decent knot, it's a real pain in the lower unit.

Well cheer up, Frosty. There's good news this fall from Lindy® tackle. The brand new X-Change™ jig system is the answer to your shiver-shrouded p-p-p-prayers. And it's sheer genius.

The X-Change system consists of a specially-designed Max-Gap® jig hook, fitted with a patented snap-on collar so you can change the size and/or color of your jig head in one quick snap.

No more poking frigid fingers into tangled boxes of razor sharp jigs. No more trying to coax deadened digits to twist cold-stiffened mono into a reliable knot. Snap off. Snap on. You're back in business!

New Lindy X-Change jigs are available in 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 ounce sizes, in a full range of proven fish-catching Lindy colors, and they're coming soon to your favorite tackle shop. Pick up a pocketful this fall and we guarantee you'll warm right up to this innovative new jigging system.
